Hello,

What kind of licence is necessary to drive a boat in Montenegro? Is there any category, which doesn't need boat driving licence? Thank You very much!

Boat Licence

Hi Norbert,

In Montenegro you need a licence to drive any boat. You either need a Montenegrin boat licence or you need an international licence like RYA.

If you'd like to hire a boat, but don't have a licence, that's no problem. There are lots of good skippered options for hourly or day rentals and tours. You can find them here on our Montenegro boat tours and boat rental pages.
